Duratia 60 mg (a brand of dapoxetine, a short-acting SSRI used for premature ejaculation) typically involves very specific participant groups selected under clinical trial guidelines. Most studies recruit adult men aged 18 to 64 years who are diagnosed with premature ejaculation (PE). These participants usually have either lifelong or acquired PE, often defined using criteria such as a consistently short intravaginal ejaculatory latency time (IELT), commonly less than about 1–2 minutes, along with self-reported loss of control over ejaculation and associated distress. Many trials also use standardized tools like Duratia 60 Premature Ejaculation Diagnostic Tool (PEDT) to confirm eligibility. Participants are generally required to be in a stable heterosexual relationship, as partner-reported outcomes are sometimes included to assess treatment effectiveness and sexual satisfaction. Clinical trials exclude individuals with significant medical or psychiatric conditions that could affect safety or results. These typically include severe cardiovascular disease, major depression, hepatic impairment, epilepsy, or substance abuse.
