Royal Challengers Bengaluru delivered one of their finest bowling displays of the season during the IPL 2026 Final against Gujarat Titans. Playing at home, GT entered the contest with confidence but struggled against RCB's relentless attack.

The opening partnership showed promise before Hazlewood dismissed Shubman Gill. Shortly afterward, Sai Sudharsan also departed, giving Bengaluru an early advantage.

RCB's bowlers maintained pressure throughout the innings. Nishant Sindhu attempted to counterattack but fell at a crucial moment. Jos Buttler, usually known for changing matches single-handedly, found it difficult to score freely and eventually lost his wicket.

Washington Sundar emerged as the standout performer for Gujarat. His determined fifty helped stabilize the innings temporarily, but regular dismissals prevented the team from posting a bigger score.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar's experience, Krunal Pandya's control, and Rasikh Salam Dar's timely wickets combined to create a complete bowling performance. The fielders also supported the attack brilliantly with sharp catches and energy in the field.

By the end of the innings, RCB had clearly won the first phase of the final. Their calm execution and tactical awareness mirrored the consistency often associated with go exchange, making it a memorable display under pressure.
