Before enrolling in any dermatology fellowship, I want to clearly understand what skills I’ll actually gain by the end of it. I’m not just looking for theoretical knowledge, but something that I can apply in daily practice.
Do these programs usually cover a wide range of conditions like acne, eczema, infections, and hair disorders in depth? And what about procedural skills—are basic dermatological procedures or aesthetic treatments included?
More importantly, does it help improve patient handling and decision-making in real scenarios? If someone has already completed a fellowship, it would be great to know what changed in your practice afterward and whether it met your expectations.
