Hi everyone! I’m planning my long-awaited trip to Nainital next month and could really use some advice about the kathgodam to nainital journey. I’ll be arriving at Kathgodam early in the morning by train, and I want the kathgodam to nainital transfer to be as smooth and hassle-free as possible.
I know the kathgodam to nainital distance is roughly 35 km, but I’m confused about whether I should take a bus or hire a taxi. I’ve read that buses for the kathgodam to nainital route are available just outside the railway station, which sounds convenient. However, since I’ll have some luggage, I’m considering whether a taxi would make the kathgodam to nainital trip more comfortable, even if it costs a bit more.
I’ve also heard about traveling the kathgodam to nainital route via Haldwani. Is it easy to find shared cabs from there for the kathgodam to nainital journey? And how is the traffic on the kathgodam to nainital road during peak tourist season?
If anyone has recommendations for reliable taxi services for the kathgodam to nainital route, I’d really appreciate it. Also, if I reach in the afternoon, should I pre-book accommodation in Nainital or find a place after completing the kathgodam to nainital trip?
