But on many DEX platforms, users still deal with failed transactions, confusing routes, and unpredictable costs. Intent-based trading might finally kill that headache. It focuses on the "what" rather than the "how."

Instead of manually executing every step, users simply define the outcome they want. The solvers compete to fill it at the best price.

This idea is gaining traction as more teams in decentralized exchange development explore ways to make DEX trading feel smoother and less technical.

It won’t replace traditional trading overnight, but it does solve a problem many users complain about. If DEX platforms want to compete with centralized exchanges on convenience, intent-based trading could be a big step in that direction.
