Hi everyone,
I’ve been working on a screenplay featuring an eccentric astrophysicist and I want their dialogue to be filled with clever star puns.
However, I’m worried about some of the lines feeling too "spaced out" or repetitive.
How do you approach creating original wordplay that feels "fresh" rather than like a "recycled" supernova?
I am looking for tips on how to "telescope" a joke so the punchline lands with maximum impact without being too obvious.
If you have any strategies for brainstorming cosmic comedy that is truly "out of this world," I would greatly appreciate your creative input on this project.
Thanks in advance..
