Ayurvedic treatment can be helpful for managing psoriasis — particularly for reducing symptoms like scaling, itching and inflammation — and many people prefer it because it uses natural herbs, dietary changes, Panchakarma therapies and lifestyle adjustments rather than synthetic drugs.

• Some classical Ayurvedic remedies (especially mineral-based ones like bhasma) can be harmful if not properly prepared or dosed — e.g. formulations containing heavy metals have toxicity risks if misused.
• Individual responses vary greatly. What’s safe and effective for one person might not be for another.
