If you encounter an orange screen on your MacBook Pro after a macOS update, the problem may be caused by a software problem, which includes display profile corruption, Night Shift settings, or a graphics driver problem. First off, try restarting the MacBook Pro Orange Screen and see if the display returns to normal. Then try going to System Settings > Displays and ensure Night Shift and True Tone are off. You may also try changing the display color profile under the Display settings tab to see if the color on the screen changes. Resetting the NVRAM is also a solution to the display color problem. This is done by turning off the Mac, turning it back on, and then holding the Option + Command + P + R keys for 20 seconds. If the orange screen was caused by a recent macOS update, booting the Mac into Safe Mode may help you determine if the problem is caused by a third-party app. However, if the orange screen is still visible during the start-up process or does not change despite adjusting the settings, the problem may be caused by a hardware problem rather than a software one.
