Hi everyone,
There is an ongoing debate regarding the prestige of a PhD Theology online compared to traditional, on-campus residency. As global connectivity improves, many top-tier universities are offering remote doctoral tracks that focus on biblical exegesis and historical theology.
Do you believe that an online dissertation process provides the same level of mentorship and scholarly critique as an in-person environment? If you were hiring a professor or a lead pastor, would the "online" tag influence your decision, or is the accreditation all that matters? Looking forward to your insights.
Thanks in advance!
