Fildena is a medication primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction. It contains Sildenafil, the same active ingredient as Viagra. There are several important considerations for when Fildena should not be taken: 1. Retinitis Pigmentosa This is a rare inherited eye condition. If you have it, Sildenafil (Fildena) may not be suitable, as it can affect vision. 7. Severe Kidney Disease If you have severe kidney disease, your doctor may need to adjust the dosage or consider a different treatment option. 8. Penile Deformities or Priapism Risk If you have a history of penile deformities (e.g., Peyronie’s disease) or are at risk for priapism (a prolonged, painful erection), you should not use Fildena without consulting a doctor. 9.
