Besides teaching me about discipline and perseverance, Geometry Dash also prompted many reflections on how we deal with pressure. In the game, sometimes just seeing a difficult section approaching makes my heart race and my hands tense up. The pressure doesn't come from the obstacles themselves, but from the fear of failure. Interestingly, Geometry Dash didn't teach me how to avoid pressure, but how to accept its existence. Only by calmly facing it could I think clearly enough to overcome the difficult sections with certainty.
The game also highlighted an aspect we often overlook in real life: the ability to listen. While playing, I had to listen to the music, feel the rhythm, and grasp every small signal to know when to jump and when to hold. This made me understand that listening is a crucial life skill, not only in games but also in communication and work. A good listener always has an advantage because they understand the rhythm of the situation before acting.
Furthermore, Geometry Dash reflects the truth that no one sees our efforts behind the scenes. Others only see that you've completed a level, but they don't know how many times you died to reach that moment. This is very similar to life: success is often publicly visible, but the effort is almost invisible. The important thing isn't being recognized, but knowing how much progress you've made yourself.
