Depending mostly on the complexity of the intended predictions and the organization's data maturity, the AI prediction platform development usually takes three to more than a year. The most time-consuming phase, Data Engineering and Preparation (4–12+ weeks), is where raw data is cleaned and organized. The calendar begins with a Discovery Phase (4–8 weeks) to describe the problem and evaluate data readiness. This comes before Model Development (6–12 weeks), at which time algorithms are thoroughly tested and trained. In order to integrate the successful model into operational business applications and ensure that the solution is regularly monitored and retrained to maintain accuracy after launch, the project finally moves onto Integration and Deployment (4–8 weeks).
