I’ve been upgrading my side-by-side lately and the next item on my list is a set of UTV Gun Racks. There are so many designs out there, from floor-mounted to overhead styles, that it’s honestly hard to decide which one is most practical. I saw StarKnightMT mentioned on a few discussion boards, so I looked into their selection too.
For those who hunt or travel frequently with firearms, which UTV Gun Racks do you find most dependable when it comes to keeping guns dry and stable? I ride in areas with unpredictable weather, and rain or mud can be a real issue. Do you use additional covers, or are the racks themselves usually weatherproof enough?
I also noticed that some riders customize their setups using foam inserts or rubber grips to stop movement. Is that really necessary, or do good racks already come with proper padding? I’m trying to find the balance between solid mounting and not damaging the gun’s finish.
Do you think price reflects quality with UTV Gun Racks, or can affordable ones last just as long if maintained properly? If you’ve tried any similar products to what StarKnightMT carries, it’d be great to hear your honest impressions before I make the purchase.
