Suhagra 100 Mg contains sildenafil citrate, a medication commonly used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). It works by enhancing blood flow to the penis, which helps men achieve and maintain an erection during sexual stimulation. Normally, sexual arousal triggers the release of nitric oxide in the penis, which activates an enzyme called guanylate cyclase. This increases levels of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), causing the smooth muscles in the penile arteries to relax and allowing more blood to fill the erectile tissues. Suhagra 100mg inhibits another enzyme, phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), which breaks down cGMP.
