Malegra 100 mg is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and contains sildenafil citrate, the same active ingredient as Viagra. While effective for many men, certain patients should avoid taking Malegra 100 mg due to potential health risks and drug interactions.

Patients who are taking nitrates for chest pain (such as nitroglycerin) should not use Malegra, as the combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Similarly, those on medications for pulmonary hypertension containing riociguat must also avoid sildenafil.

Men with a history of serious heart conditions, including recent heart attack, stroke, or severe arrhythmias, should not take MALEGRA 100 without a doctor’s approval. It is also not recommended for individuals with uncontrolled high or low blood pressure, severe liver or kidney disease, or known retinal disorders such as retinitis pigmentosa.

Additionally, Malegra is not suitable for men who are advised to avoid sexual activity due to cardiovascular risk.

Lastly, Malegra 100 mg is not approved for use in women or children under 18.

Malegra 100 mg is effective for ED, but not safe for everyone. Always consult a healthcare provider before use, especially if you have pre-existing conditions or are taking other medications.
