Hello Sunemall community,
I’m working on a DIY guitar pedal project and I’m in need of a durable custom aluminum enclosure that offers good shielding, easy access for wiring, and a smooth finish for paint or laser engraving.
Specifically, I’m looking for advice on:
Recommended enclosure dimensions (length × width × height) that fit standard pedal layouts.
The most durable latch or closure mechanism—something easy to open but won’t jiggle during pedal use.
Any tips or material options (like brushed finish vs. powder-coated) that simplify DIY customization while preserving sound quality?
I’d really appreciate any feedback from fellow modders or anyone who has experience with Sunemall’s aluminum cases for similar projects.
