Hi everyone!

Today I want to talk about snakes. Snakes are reptiles with long bodies and no legs. They move by sliding on the ground. Some live in forests, some in deserts, and some even in water.

There are many types of snackes, and they all look a bit different. Some are small, some are big. Some are safe, and some are dangerous.

Here are a few common types of snakes:

Python – A big snake that squeezes its food. It is not poisonous.

Cobra – A snake with a wide hood. It is poisonous and can be dangerous.

Garter snake – A small and harmless snake found in gardens.

Rattlesnake – A snake with a rattle on its tail. It makes noise to warn others.

Boa – Like the python, it wraps around its prey. It is also not poisonous.

Fun Facts:
Snakes smell with their tongue!

They can eat animals bigger than their head.

Some snakes live in trees, some in water, and some under the ground.

Most snakes are not dangerous to people.

Snakes may look scary, but they are important. They help control rats and insects. Many are shy and just want to be left alone.

What types of snakes do you like or find interesting? Have you ever seen one? Let’s talk about it!
