If your Linksys Velop password not working, then there could be several reasons behind it. More often than not, users enter the wrong password due to typing errors or codes that are no longer valid. It might have been changed recently and you never did update it in your records or your devices. Another cause of problems with the login might be a corrupted or an incomplete firmware update.
Another possibility could be if you have reset your Velop system very recently; the system would then be in default mode requiring a password or new setup. Sometimes, connectivity problems or simple glitches in the Linksys app can cause login problems. If you are using the Linksys app, make sure that you are running the latest version and that your device is connected to a stable network.
If the Linksys Velop password not working remains a problem, then the next best choice becomes restoring the Linksys Velop to factory defaults. Have your primary node reset Linksys Velop by pressing and holding the reset button for about ten seconds until the light turns red. Once done, configure your network again from scratch using the Linksys app.
The new credentials must be in a secure location to save yourself from log-in troubles going forward. Also, updating the firmware regularly will keep your connection smooth and secure.
