Checking and Changing the outlook index group setting may fix the outlook search not working issue, especially in Windows 10 Pro and Windows 11 Pro
Click on the Start button and type “gpedit” in the search field, and open the option “Edit group policy.”
Now go to User Configuration >> Administrative Templates >> Windows Components >> Search.
Now, check Default excluded paths and Prevent indexing certain paths for alterations regarding Outlook.
Make sure that the “State” is set to “Not configured” which confirms that it is not the reason for Outlook search problems.
