To set up your Netgear WiFi extender, first plug it into a power outlet near your router. Press the power button to turn it on. Next, connect your computer or device to the extender’s Wi-Fi network. Open a web browser and visit the setup page (www.mywifiext.net). Follow the on-screen instructions to select your Wi-Fi network and enter your Wi-Fi password. The extender will then connect to your router and extend your Wi-Fi signal. For optimal placement, position the extender halfway between your router and the area with a weak signal.
