Because they are Germanic languages, German and English use the same alphabet. With the exception of ä, ü, ö, ß, all other letters are pronounced as a, ü, ö, ß. With German, you basically read what you see (compared to Dutch, for example). One of my colleagues suggested that the easiest way to say German may depend on your native tongue. Most Europeans, Americans, etc. Shouldn't have a problem with this.
